CALC 2 - Integral Calculus (Vasquez)
The course introduces the concept of integration and its application to some physical problems such as evaluation of areas, volumes of revolution, force, and work. The fundamental formulas and various techniques of integration are taken up and applied to both single variable and multi-variable functions. The course includes tracing of functions of two variables for a better appreciation of the interpretation of the double and triple integral as volume of a three-dimensional region bounded by the two or more surfaces.
NPS 2 - Physics for Engineers (Vasquez)
This course is designated to present and explain the different theories, concept and introductory principles related statistics, dynamics, work, energy and power, strength of materials, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer, waves and sounds, optics, lenses and basic electrical. These will provide forthcoming engineers with the needed information and understanding to enable feature learning and to solve engineering problems calculus based.
