GE Eng - Purposive Communication
This study guide has been prepared for students taking the Purposive Communication course. It aims to give students a foundational understanding of purposeful communication, including the key concepts of the communication process, paper writing, oral presentations, and communication materials that span professions. This course will assist students in achieving their goals as they actively participate in communication in both academic and non-academic contexts.
GE Contemporary World
This course introduces students to the contemporary world by examining the multifaceted phenomenon of globalization. Using the various disciplines of the social sciences, it examines the economic, social, political, technological, and other transformations that have created an increasing awareness of the interconnectedness of peoples and places around the globe.
Mathematics in the Modern World
This course deals with nature of mathematics, appreciation of its practical, intellectual, and aesthetic dimensions, and application of mathematical tools in daily life.
Differential Calculus
A course in calculus covering topics from your basic math ( algebra, trigonometry and analytic geometry) as a refresher for the main course topics such as functions, limits, continuity, derivatives of both algebraic and transcendental functions and their applications, higher-order derivative, implicit differentiation, curve tracing, indeterminate forms and partial derivatives.
Machine Shop Theory and Practices 1(DAT)
The Resultant of this subject is Machining NC I Qualification which consists of competencies that a person must achieve to set up and operate a variety of machine tools to perform precision machining operations.
Specifically, this Training Regulations in Machining covers turning, milling, precision grinding and bench work.
GE Arts Appreciation
Art Appreciation is a three-unit course that develops student's ability to appreciate, analyze, and critique works of art. Through interdisciplinary and multimodal approaches, this course equips students with a broad knowledge of the practical, historical, philosophical, and social relevance of the arts in order to hone student's ability to articulate their understanding of the arts. The course also develops student's competency in researching and curating art as well as conceptualizing, mounting, and evaluating art productions. The course aims to develop student's genuine appreciation for Philippine arts by providing them opportunities to explore the diversity and richness and their rootedness in Filipino culture.
Physical Activities Towards Health and Fitness I (Dance and Music)
This module is designed to discover skills and knowledge that will help learners develop and optimize a life-long health and fitness habit for physical activities such as dance, individual, dual and combative sports.
Nowadays, students are less physically active because of different reasons; one of this is due to COVID-19 pandemic. Also, with the advancement of technology they tend to do more online games and social media which do not require body movement.
Physical education can help learners get through of anxieties and stress. It improves confidence, self-esteem, discipline, and physiological, mechanical and psychological mechanism through the development of motor behavior.
MGT 2 - Customer Relations and Negotiations
By developing the customer relation and negotiation area of a business, the business will be able to take good care of all their past, present, and future customers.

SOC SCI 1 - Life and Works of Rizal
A study of the life, works, and writings of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, the national hero, and martyr, as they relate to the socio-political situation of the Philippines during his time and its implication to our present time. It traces the hero’s life, ideals, the concept of education, good government, and nationalism as embodied in his writings, particularly the Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo.
At the end of the semester, the students will be able to:
- Learn and understand the life of Dr. Jose P. Rizal from his birth to his martyrdom.
- Analyze the impact of Rizal’s life in relation to his contribution to the socio-political situation of the Philippines then and the present time.
- Critically understand Rizal’s heroism and realize the significance of his ideas in the present time.
- Interpret the selected poem, essays, and novels and their impact on the socio-political situation during the past and present time.
NATIONAL SERVICES TRAINING PROGRAM 2
The course analyzes community development with the use of NSTP 2 for outreach program. It is an effective tool utilized by higher education institutions to become familiarized with and responsive to the problems facing their constituencies. It is one of the leadership responsibilities of the school to help the community through community services. These could be most effective if the services are based on the needs of the community, particularly on the social problems which are discuss in the book such as poverty, child abuse, pornography, population explosion, juvenile delinquency, drug abuse, pollution, unemployment and graft and corruption.
Community Service is performed for the benefit of the public and the community itself. It should be a part of the learning process and development of individuals for the love of their country.
In order for learners to gain competency in this course, this course pack has been structured into (3) three modules as follows:

This course explores arts, focusing on the development of visual awareness, assessment, and appreciation by examining a variety of styles from various periods and cultures while emphasizing the development of a common visual language.
