This course covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes in welding carbon steel plates and pipes using gas metal arc welding and flux-cored arc welding processes. The materials to be welded ranges from small to bigger diameter and with different thicknesses/schedule numbers. It also includes techniques and procedures in welding different joints configuration and parameters acceptable to industry standards. The welding procedure and the acceptance criteria of the weld joint shall be in accordance to AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX. |
