MGT 1: Management Theory and Practices
This course is designed for non-business students who wish to equip themselves with key knowledge, skills, and competencies in various aspects of management. The course encompasses the core components of management.
Students will gain fundamental knowledge and skills for management in contemporary organizations. These include the ‘How to’ and ‘Why’. Students will also develop analytical and critical thinking skills in the context of contemporary organizations.
GE Ethics: Ethics
This course tackles moral experiences in different levels of human existence, explain the influence of Filipino culture of ways student solve moral dilemmas, the use of ethical frameworks or principles in analyzing moral experiences, ethical judgement, showing sensitivity of common good and the application of principles of ethical behavior.
This is handled by non-DIT teacher.
GE Arts: Art Appreciation
This course is an exploration of visual art forms and their cultural connections for the student with little experience in the visual arts. It includes a brief study of art history and in depth studies of the elements, media, and methods used in creative processes and thought.
It may seek to bring about a particular emotion or mood, for the purpose of relaxing or entertaining the viewer. This is often the function of the art industries of Motion Pictures and Video Games.
PF 101: Object-Oriented Programming
This course covers types of computer programming language (software design) in which programmers define not only the data type of a data structure, but also the types of operations (functions) that can be applied to the data structure.
IPT 102: Integrative Programming Technologies
This course is an overview of integrative programming as related to applications and systems. Topics include inter-systems communication, data mapping and exchange, integrative coding, scripting techniques, software security, and an overview of programming languages.
Team Sports
This course covers the history of sports, terminologies, rules and regulations, facilities and equipment and officials of thegame. It includes competencies in techniques and strategies in playing team sports
SA 101: Systems Administration and Maintenance
This course tackles data communications and networking models, topologies, protocols, standards and architectures. Discusses necessary hardware and components used to establish communication between multiple networks, the analysis of routing algorithms, processes in routing tables and configuration of routers for proper orientation of an efficient network.
Methods of Research
This course provides students with the foundation of conceptualization and operationalization of research, how to design a research project and 'hands-on' skills in the utilization of different research methods. Students will be exposed to a wide range of research methods and will learn key principles of research design. Topics to be covered in detail include sampling, surveying, interviewing, case study analysis, focus groups, interviewing and analyzing and presenting data.
GE US: Understanding the Self
This course tackles self and identity is a subfield of psychology. As the name implies, it deals with topics pertaining to both self and identity. Key areas of investigation include self-concept, self-esteem, and self-control. What distinguishes self and identity as a discipline is its scientific character.

SOC SCI : Life and Works of Rizal
This course covers the Life and Works of our National Hero Jose P. Rizal.
It traces the hero's life, ideals, concept of education, good government, and nationalism as embodied in his writings, particularly the Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. It critically understand Rizal's heroism and realize the significance of his ideas in the present time.
